Newborn Session for the Pepper Family

Aydan and Nickey came to my studio for his newborn session on June 17th.  Aydan was such a good sport and so much fun to pose.  What a handsome little prince this baby boy is and so astute for only 9 days old!  For more of my newborn photography please visit my portfolio.  Enjoy!

Colorado Springs Family Portraits

Jeffery Family Portraits - June 2014

I had the pleasure of meeting the Jeffery's and some of their extended family this weekend and what a treat!  We did their family portraits at the Broadmoor Resort here in Colorado Springs and they could not have been easier to work with; especially for having such a large group.  The children were adorable, the adults were fun with great senses of humor, and everyone looked awesome on camera.  They came to Colorado Springs from Orange County, Chicago, the Northeast, and other places around America for their family vacation.  They certainly did seem like they were enjoying Colorado Springs and all it has to offer for entertainment and the beautiful outdoors.  Leslie really made us feel appreciated as a military family and was not at all shy about thanking my husband for his service.  Her volunteer work at Camp Pendleton is evidence of her appreciation for our troops and we can only hope that she knows how much our military appreciate people like her and her family.  Dan and Leslie are sincere, appreciative, and truly kindred spirits.  For more from their family portrait session please visit my portfolio.

Colorado Springs Photographer

I have finally compiled my favorite pictures from our vacation to share with everyone.  If you have never been to the Grand Teton’s or Yellowstone National Park it is a must see but allow yourself ample time.  You could spend months exploring these parks in their entirety.  We started with two nights at the Cowboy Village cabins in Jackson and with that took the day on Saturday to ride a ferry across Lake Jenny to hike into the Lower Falls.  That proved incredibly challenging with one toddler in a hiking backpack and one in tennis shoes.  We went early in the season so there was still plenty of snow to contend with but the up side of that was we did not share the trails with many people.  We also stayed at Headwaters Lodge Cabins on a ranch that was 2 miles out of the south entrance of Yellowstone.  It was beautiful, serene, and very “outdoorsy”.  We only had one full day to explore Yellowstone and while we would have liked to see more we did get our goal of 3 in and even a couple more.  Here are the pictures for your viewing pleasure.  If you ever plan to visit Yellowstone or the Tetons and want any input I can offer feel free to contact me!  Enjoy!
