What a fun day Lucy had at the park.  She is especially hard to photograph with her independent personality and high speed at only 18 months old!  I was still able to get some pretty amazing photographs of her and here are a couple of my favorites!

Colorado Springs Toddler Portraits

This is my 2 & 1/2 year old son Luke the gentle giant.  He just makes my heart melt and is a carbon copy of his father.  Not only do I get the pleasure of having a handsome and God loving husband but I get to look forward to watching my child grow into being like the love of my life.  He is the sweetest little boy that God could have created and given to us.  Not a day goes by that I do not get the biggest pleasure and sense of happiness just by the little things like watching him concentrate on building blocks, patting his little sisters back when she is coughing, or putting her favorite pacifier in her mouth when she is upset.   We are truly a blessed family and as I mother I certainly have learned exactly what priceless means.  God bless our children.  For more toddler portraits check out the family and toddler sections of my portfolio.

Curry Family Portrait Session - Bennett Family Photography, Colorado Springs, CO

It could not have been a better day at Garden of the Gods and Rock Ledge Historic Ranch site.  Josiah, Holly, Veronica, and Ronin were such fun to photograph and what a sweet family!  Their family portraits turned out beautifully.  As close friends of ours from church, I feel privileged to have taken their pictures and capture such special moments for them.  They will be taking a permanent change of station to Atlanta soon and I am so very sad to see them go; as we say in the military: duty calls.  Hopefully it will not be too long before we are close to them again…  God bless them and their beautiful family.  Nothing but love for them!  For more from their family portrait session check out the family portrait section of my portfolio.

Maryam and Cy's Prom

These two are such an adorable couple!  I was so happy to be able to take their Skyfall 2014 Prom pictures for them!  I have done portraits for Maryam before but this was my first time meeting Cy and how impressed I was with not only his manners but how friendly he was as a teenage boy.  The pictures turned out wonderfully and hopefully they will make the memories of a special night vivid for a life time.  To see more of my event photography please visit my website.
